Only 1 in 4 mums are thriving in motherhood

Let’s make you one of them

You deserve better than a motherhood lived in survival mode.

Are you losing yourself in being everything to everybody else and exhausted from carrying the weight of it alone? Exhausted from juggling it all and being The Manager of Everything, without even a moment to think about yourself? Finding yourself crying in the bathroom again after losing it at the little people you love most in the world, left questioning whether you’re just too sensitive to be a good mum?

Hear me on this: when the overwhelm melts away, you’ll see that you were always the perfect mum for your babies. You just needed the right support, mindset and coping skills to get you to the place where you finally have the presence of mind to be playful with your little ones and actually laugh at your partner’s jokes.

You know this is a short and special season of life and you want to look back and know you made the most of it, to get into bed at night and feel great about the kind of calm and confident parent you are to your children.

I can help.

I’m Kirsti

I’m Kirsti, mum to two gorgeous girls and a coaching psychologist for deeply-feeling, easily-overstimulated mums like you.

Having children brought a richness to my life more beautiful than I imagined, but our journey was challenging from the start, and the day-to-day work of mothering was so much harder than I expected.

I found myself leaning heavily on the various mindset and mood-boosting practices I’d learned during my Masters degree, until one day I looked up and thought, How on earth does anyone cope without these?

So here I am: on a mission to share the realistic, evidence-based practices that have made it possible for me to show up with my kids and partner in an way I feel proud of, and find joy amidst the messy chaos, with as many mums as possible. More patience, playfulness, and presence — that’s what I want for us all.

Say goodbye to well-meaning but impractical advice.

Positive Psychology is the perfect fit for modern mums, who are overwhelmed by relentless demands, with little to no family support (lacking a village), and no time for yourself. You don’t need to be told to “prioritise getting a good nights sleep” (umm, tell your toddler) or to “take time for you” (when exactly?) — you need realistic mindset shifts and calming practices that take only a moment, but give you the most bang-for-your-buck: more I’ve-got-this energy, a calm body, and the ability to enjoy the beauty amidst the chaos.

“Working with Kirsti has been a significant pillar in my personal journey over the last 6 months - I feel I am more authentic, able to more quickly establish my true thoughts and feelings on things and own them. I have confronted some of the things that I have been avoiding whilst in the trenches of parenthood and regained confidence. This work has also significantly helped me manage anxiety and improve my leadership style. The combination of the tools Kirsti uses, positive psychology style, excellent questions and focus on me as a mother has really worked for me at this stage in my life. If you want to look at yourself as a person within the context of all the roles you fulfill in life (parent, member of staff, partner, family member) then Kirsti's approach really will support you.”
